Bangladesh Health and Demographic Survey of  2011's data has been used for this study. Results: The results (unweighted) showed that 28% of the men and 28.9% of the women aged 30 years or more had T2D (≥7.0 mmol/L), and the difference was not statistically significant between men and women. About 8.4% of the T2D patients (n=250) had sedentary or low level of physical activity (PAL <1.70) whereas for non-diabetic patients 10% (n=80). Average energy, protein, carbohydrate, fat, iron, zinc, and calcium intake were not significantly different between the T2D and non-diabetic subjects.
