The details on Terry Towel such as the manufacturing process, the yarn used for making a terry towel, factory statistics, export-import data, physical properties, classification of terry towels were discussed in the article.

The knit structures have a great influence on the physical and dimensional stability of the knit fabric. The experiment eas carried out on knit fabric with different rib derivatives; 1x1 rib, 2x1 rib, 2x2 rib using 30/2 Ne and 34/2 Ne yarn to find out the influence of the structures and yarn linear density on the physical properties such as spirality, GSM, wales density, course density, stitch density, loop length etc.

The experiment was to analyze the effect of weave structures, fabric width, fabric weight on the skewness, and shrinkage of denim fabric. This experiment showed how the above factors had affected these properties. Denim fabrics with 21 RHT, 3/1 RHT, 4/1 Satin, 2/2 RHT having the same width and almost the same GSM  were selected to find out the effect of weave structure on the skewness and shrinkage of denim fabric. Again fabric with 3/1 RHT weave structure having different weight but same width  and same weight but different width were also selected to investigate the effects of weight and width on the mentioned properties of denim fabric.
