The goal of this study was to determine the frequency of bacterial isolates cultured from diabetic foot infections and to assess their Ampicillin resistance and susceptibility. The present study confirmed the prevalence of ampicillin drug resistant pathogens in diabetic foot ulcers. The diverse bacteria infecting the wound must be evaluated, as well as the antibiotic susceptibility patterns of the isolates from the infected lesion. This information is critical for selecting the right medications, eliminating resistance trends, and lowering healthcare costs.

The aim of the study was to determine if dentists in and around Dhaka are aware of certain workplace hazards and what precautions they take to avoid them.  This study found that the occupational hazards, biological hazards awareness, and preventive actions observed by dentists in Dhaka are generally consistent with published infection control guidelines and previous studies. The bulk of the dental professionals were in pain in their neck or back muscles. Regular training and workshops can aid in the reduction of such issues.

This study investigated the role of glutathione-S-transferase gene (GSTM1 and GSTT1) polymorphisms
in the predisposition of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) with or without diabetic retinopathy (DR). Our findings suggest the potential role of GSTT1 deletion mutation as a risk factor for the vulnerability of DR among T2DM patients in the Bangladeshi population.
