Performance Evaluation of Biman Loyalty Club as Frequent Flyer Program, Farzana,

Frequent Flyer Program(FFP) is the first loyalty program whiuch was applied in most airline companies to build and keep strong relationship with customers. This study investigates the performances of a FFP Biman Bangladesh Airlines, named Biman Loyalty Club (BLC) and uses the primary data purposively collected from 62 respondents. 80.6% of the FFP members are motivated byb this customer retention activity which has very positive impact for BIman Bangladesh Airlines Ltd. This study can be further extended for large size using various statistical methods.

Travel motivation has gained considerable attention to better understand and predict factors that influence travel decision-making. Consumer loyalty programs such as frequent flyer programs (FFPs) may alter the intensity of price competition and enhance the market power of airlines. From analysis of FFP of Biman Bangladesh airlines, named Biman Loyalty club, we have found 29 variables that have direct impact on the motivation toward FFP and performance. Through factor analysis we have summarized the variables into six distinguished component groups according to loading factors and renamed them.

Measuring effectiveness of website features: An user-centered evaluation of an official
destination website, Farzana, Syeda Farah; Journal of Primeasia University JPAU-17(1) -

Many tourists nowadays go online to seek travel information and found that 93% of Internet users searching for travel information visit the destination's official tourism website. The main aim of this research is to identify influencing features which act as critical positive key factors to run an official tourism website successfully. For analysis the official tourism based website “Visit Bangladesh, Land of Stories” has been taken. This study will investigate the website features importance and its influence in group, and comparison between expected and perceived experience of browsers or users on an official destination’s website.
