 In this paper. Base case load flow is used to analysis power system. After identifying low voltage buses, arbitrary caciptor back is imposed in bueses and results are checked whether it is met or not in the system demand level. Here MATLAB coding is used to find the low voltage affected bus and automated calculation of capacitor back size is done by MATLAB also. The proposed method of identification of low voltage buses and determination of capacitor bank are faster and easier than the conventional method.

In this paper, a typical electric vehicle dynamic is modeled to mechanical parameter after conversion its mechanical torques, the electrical power is obtained by required mechanical torque and angular velocity of propel as well as wheel. The permanent magnet DC motor is used to simulate the vehicle speed and torque. MATLAB created surface or road gradients are used to investigate torque in different ups and downs at different angle. When wind turbine is connected to a grid system, the power quality measurements like active power, reactive power, frequency, voltage sag, voltage swell, flicker and harmonics are needed to be considered. In this paper, a STATCOM (static compensator) model is proposed for improving the power quality in case of feeding electricity generated from the wind turbine into the grid.The proposed STATCOM control scheme for improving the wind power quality is designed and simulated by using Simpower toolbox of MATLAB Simulink.

This is a simple analogical approach to calculate the reactive power by using proposed method of power flow analysis in the transmission line. The MATLAB is used for power flow analysis and identified the unhealthy bus of a power system. The microcontroller is used for sensing the voltage level of the transmission line. The thyristor controlled reactor and thyristor switched capacitor are used for voltage control where switching control of thyristor is managed by microcontroller by providing appropriate gate pulse according to the condition of the transmission line.
